Roundbox Media Ltd (the "Organiser") organises and operates the Roundbox League (RBL), a 6-a-side football entertainment competition broadcast on social media and streaming platforms in Ghana ("Roundbox League"). As part of the player selection process for Season 1 of Roundbox League, eligible applicants may be invited to participate in a player scouting trial event at which candidates will be assessed and selected to represent teams competing in the league (the "Trial").

These Terms of Participation ("Terms") set out the conditions on which, if selected, you agree to participate in the Trial. By confirming your acceptance of these Terms, you acknowledge and accept all risks that may arise from attending and participating in the Trial. Nothing in these Terms obliges the Organiser to invite you to participate in the Trial; selection is at the sole and absolute discretion of the Organiser.

Registration

You must register for the Trial via the official Roundbox League player application form at roundboxleague.com/apply. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete registration information. You may be disqualified from the Trial if you are found to have provided false or misleading information at any stage of the registration process.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in the Trial, you must satisfy all of the following:

• Be 18 years of age or older on the date of the Trial

• Have completed the official online player registration form

• Have confirmed your acceptance of these Terms

• Satisfy the Health and Fitness Requirements set out below

• Provide valid photo ID for identity verification (national ID card, passport, or driver's licence, subject to the Organiser's acceptance)

• Be physically present and available on the scheduled Trial date

Assessment

The Organiser will assess your skills and suitability for Roundbox League during the Trial. Assessment may include, but is not limited to:

• Physical and technical skills: speed, agility, dribbling, ball control, passing, and shooting

• Positional awareness and small-sided game intelligence

• Goalkeepers: reflexes, positioning, shot-stopping, and distribution

• In-match performance via 6-a-side format games under Roundbox League rules, including Turbo Mode scenarios

• Professionalism, attitude, and coachability

Equipment

• You will be provided with a numbered training bib during the Trial, which must be returned immediately at the end of the session or a replacement fee of GHS 50 will apply.

• You are responsible for providing all appropriate sportswear and footwear, including football boots (no metal studs), shorts, socks, and shin guards.

• Appropriate attire must be worn throughout the Trial. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse participation to any player who does not comply.

Costs and Expenses

• You are solely responsible for all costs associated with attending the Trial, including transport, accommodation, meals, and any other personal expenses.

• The Organiser will not reimburse any costs incurred in connection with your participation in the Trial.

No Accompanying Persons

Only registered Trial participants may attend the Trial session. You may not bring companions, agents, family members, or any other persons to the Trial venue unless expressly authorised in writing by the Organiser.

Photography, Filming, and Media Rights

By agreeing to these Terms and participating in the Trial, you consent to the Organiser capturing photography and video footage of you during the Trial, including any interviews (collectively, the "Content"). Content also includes any footage or media you submit as part of the application process, such as highlight reels.

The Organiser may:

• Stream, broadcast, and transmit the Content live and on-demand via any media platform, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and any other digital or broadcast channel

• Use the Content in marketing and promotional campaigns for Roundbox League

• Edit, adapt, translate, or otherwise make use of the Content at its discretion

You hereby assign to the Organiser, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all rights (including copyright and performers' rights) in the Content. You agree that you will not be entitled to any payment in connection with the creation or use of the Content.

Disqualification

You may be disqualified from the Trial, before or during the event, if you:

• Provide false or misleading information during the registration or application process

• Breach any of these Terms

• Fail to follow the rules of the Trial or the reasonable instructions of Organiser staff

• Breach any rules or conditions of the Trial venue

• Are abusive, threatening, or use foul or offensive language toward any person at the Trial

• Behave in an unsporting or disrespectful manner

• Are physically unfit to meaningfully participate in the Trial

• Fail to complete any required assessments during the Trial

• Act in any manner likely to cause distress, disruption, danger, or damage to persons or property

If disqualified, you will be required to leave the venue immediately and will not be permitted to return. No costs or expenses incurred will be refunded or compensated by the Organiser. If you fail to attend after confirming your participation, you may be excluded from eligibility to participate in Roundbox League for the current season.

Health and Fitness Requirements

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are medically fit to participate in the Trial. You must also:

• Complete any pre-event health screening required by the Organiser

• Be free of any contagious or infectious illness on the date of the Trial

• Notify the Organiser promptly if your medical condition changes prior to the Trial

You are responsible for obtaining any health or medical insurance you consider appropriate to cover your participation in the Trial. The Organiser does not provide medical insurance on your behalf.

Risk and Waiver

You acknowledge that participation in the Trial involves playing contact sport and carries an inherent risk of personal injury. You confirm that you are participating at your own risk and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release and discharge Roundbox Media Ltd and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from your participation in the Trial, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by the Organiser's proven negligence.

Personal Belongings

You are solely responsible for any personal property or belongings you bring to the Trial. The Organiser accepts no liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, howsoever caused.

Changes and Cancellation

The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Trial arrangements, including changes to the date, time, or venue. The Organiser also reserves the right to cancel the Trial in circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather conditions making safe attendance or participation impossible

• Unavoidable technical or logistical failures

• Government directives, public health orders, or force majeure events

The Organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from such changes or cancellation. No refunds for travel, accommodation, or other arrangements will be provided.

Selection and Withdrawal

Successful candidates will be notified by [TBD DATE] if selected to advance to the RBL Draft or team allocation process. The Organiser's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding selection outcomes.

You may withdraw from the Trial at any time by notifying the Organiser in writing. Withdrawal will result in your exclusion from eligibility to participate in Roundbox League for the current season.

No Assignment

Your rights and obligations under these Terms are personal to you and may not be assigned or transferred to any other person.

Data Protection

The Organiser will collect, store, and process your personal data in accordance with applicable Ghanaian data protection laws, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Your data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Trial, selecting players, and operating Roundbox League. The Organiser's Privacy Policy is available at roundboxleague.com/privacy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
